We're busily gearing up for the next GYGOAT (Get-Your-Geek-On-A-Thon): three days of gaming and modeling mayhem!
GYGOAT VI will run 52 STRAIGHT HOURS on Halloween week-end from Friday, October 30 through Sunday, Nov 1!
We'll be running Zombies with a chance to win store credit the entire week-end! The game will be at the store, so you don't need to bring your own. For a $5 entry fee, you can play Zombies as long as you want. For every 25 Zombies you kill, you get $10 in store credit. If you stop for any reason such as joining another event, you cash in your kills to get your store credit. Any time you want to start again, you can pay another $5 entry fee for more Zombie slaying mayhem.
Here is the schedule:
ZOMBIES all week-end from 5 pm Friday to 8 pm Sunday
Friday Events:
6 pm to Midnight - Friday Night Magic: $5 entry
8 pm to 2 am - Vampire the Eternal Struggle: No entry
9 pm to 2 am - Legend of the Five Rings (Sudden Death Event): 5.00 entry

We have a DM, he's providing pre-generated characters, and it's a one shot deal but could lead to other things... _________________ "Once more unto the breach, dear friends..." |

It's a fellow named Danny, and he's well versed in the rules. He's a good DM - you'll have a great time ) _________________ "Once more unto the breach, dear friends..." |

OOPS Mike the Warhammer event is actually Fantasy. We're starting a Map Campaign that will run through December. I'll be using some of my GW prize support for this. Mike Wellman is running it, so I'll let him post the specifics on here for what you should bring on Saturday. _________________ "Once more unto the breach, dear friends..." |

Is Sunday 40k or Fantasy? Can we get details on that event? _________________ Games Played - 40k, DBA, FoG, V:TES, FoW, and a variety of others

Both Saturday and Sunday are the start of the Warhammer Fantasy Map Campaign. The idea is to run through the first "month" during GYGOAT, then meet every odd Thursday after that. The specifics of what to bring are posted in the Warhammer Fantasy forums.
You don't *have* to make it both days, but you do have to sign up ahead of time if you won't be there Saturday. Space is limited (there are 6 total slots, and I've already spoken for one of them), so if you're interested, you should get down to the store ASAP.
I'm going to talk to John about the prizes, but I'm hoping to do something other than a simple 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize distribution (right now I'm looking at first place, best sportsman, and best general, with the latter two being player votes). _________________

Both Saturday and Sunday are the start of the Warhammer Fantasy Map Campaign. The idea is to run through the first "month" during GYGOAT, then meet every other Thursday after that (so the 12th and every other week afterward).
If you're going to miss Saturday, please leave some way to get in touch with you by phone, and I'll do your moves for you (it's either that or miss out on the first round or two of land-grabbing). Expect me to call around 1:30pm. _________________

Ok, so no 40k events and no non-map tournaments. Got it, thanks! _________________ Games Played - 40k, DBA, FoG, V:TES, FoW, and a variety of others
